UCI Foundation is a self-funded, volunteer-run non-profit working out of Tezpur, Assam — getting blood to patients who need it, caring for animals no one else notices, and keeping children in school regardless of what their family can afford.
UCI Foundation began as The Uncivilised Indian — a group of young volunteers in Tezpur experimenting with social-good videos. What they learned convinced them the real answer wasn't more content, it was consistent, unglamorous work. Today the foundation runs on volunteer hours and small donations, with three programmes doing most of the heavy lifting — and a flood relief operation that activates every year the Brahmaputra demands it.
Each grew out of a simple question: who in Tezpur is being overlooked, and what can a small, committed team actually do about it?
Blood donation drives that keep Tezpur's blood banks stocked, ready for patients who need it now.
Rescue, feeding, and medical care for strays, wildlife, and birds across Tezpur — because being voiceless shouldn't mean being invisible.
Free tuition and school support for underprivileged children — so a family's income never decides whether a child stays in class.
Devastating floods have displaced families across Assam. UCI Foundation is running a relief camp — including a medical camp — for affected families. Every contribution is logged and reported back to the donor.
A medical camp for flood-affected families is being run as part of this relief effort.
